ROMANIN OLAY \u00d6RG\u00dcS\u00dc<\/p>\n<p>Roman\u0131n<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>olay \u00f6rg\u00fcs\u00fc, 1900\u2019l\u00fc y\u0131llar\u0131n ba\u015f\u0131nda siyasetle u\u011fra\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131 ve bunun i\u00e7in de \u0130stanbul\u2019da oturmas\u0131 Talat Pa\u015fa taraf\u0131ndan art\u0131k istenmeyen Doktor Selahattin (sonradan Darvino\u011flu soyad\u0131n\u0131 alacakt\u0131r.) ve onun o\u011flu Do\u011fan\u2019dan olan \u00fc\u00e7 torununun Cennethisar\u2019daki babaanneleri Fatma\u2019y\u0131 ziyaretleri ve burada ya\u015fad\u0131klar\u0131 olu\u015fturur.<\/p>\n<p>Torunlar\u0131n\u0131n babaannelerini ziyaretleri her yaz olan rutin bir ziyarettir; fakat bu seferki ziyaret, \u00f6nceki ziyaretlerden biraz farkl\u0131 ge\u00e7ecektir. Fatma han\u0131m\u0131n torunlar\u0131ndan biri, tarihle alakal\u0131 ayn\u0131 zamanda i\u00e7kiye de hat\u0131r\u0131 say\u0131l\u0131r bir derecede m\u00fcptela olan Faruk bey, di\u011feri devrimci Nilg\u00fcn, bir di\u011feri de zenginlik d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnceleri olan Metin\u2019dir. Babaannelerinin yan\u0131nda, onunla birlikte ya\u015fayan, onun hizmetini g\u00f6r\u00fcp ihtiya\u00e7lar\u0131n\u0131 gideren bir de c\u00fcce Recep vard\u0131r. Recep k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fckken ald\u0131\u011f\u0131 \u015fiddetli darbelerden dolay\u0131 boyu k\u0131sa kalan, bu nedenle uzayamayan bir c\u00fccedir.<\/p>\n<p>Torunlar\u0131n bu bir haftal\u0131k tatillerinde genellikle ayn\u0131 rutin \u015feyler vuku bulmu\u015f, ayn\u0131 konu\u015fmalar olmu\u015f k\u0131sacas\u0131 herkes kendi d\u00fcnyas\u0131nda kendi \u00e7evresiyle veya kendi d\u00fcnyas\u0131yla ilgilenmi\u015ftir. Romanda Faruk beyi e\u015finden ayr\u0131lm\u0131\u015f olarak g\u00f6r\u00fcr\u00fcz. Yukar\u0131da da bahsi ge\u00e7ti\u011fi \u00fczere kendini alkole vermi\u015f, ayn\u0131 zamanda tarihi vakalara hobisi olan bir karakter olarak okuyucu kar\u015f\u0131s\u0131na \u00e7\u0131kar. \u0130tibari d\u00fcnyan\u0131n kurmaca bir karakteri olarak okuyucu kar\u015f\u0131s\u0131na \u00e7\u0131kan di\u011fer ki\u015fi ise Nilg\u00fcn d\u00fcr. Nilg\u00fcn\u2019\u00fc ise devrimci kimli\u011fi ile kar\u015f\u0131m\u0131zda buluruz. Genellikle kendi halinde olan bir k\u0131zd\u0131r. \u00c7ocukluk arkada\u015flar\u0131 Hasan vard\u0131r. Hasan sa\u011f g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015fl\u00fc bir gen\u00e7tir ve Nilg\u00fcn\u2019e ilgisi vard\u0131r. Bir g\u00fcn Nilg\u00fcn\u2019\u00fc bakkaldan Cumhuriyet Gazetesi al\u0131rken g\u00f6r\u00fcr. Bu Hasan i\u00e7in \u00e7okta iyi olmayan i\u00e7inde bulundu\u011fu ve savundu\u011fu davaya tamam\u0131yla z\u0131t bir durumdur. Bir g\u00fcn Nilg\u00fcn\u2019le tart\u0131\u015f\u0131r ve bu esnada Nilg\u00fcn darbe al\u0131r, ertesi g\u00fcn ise torunlar\u0131n, babaannelerinin yan\u0131ndaki g\u00fcnleri doldu\u011fundan dolay\u0131 \u0130stanbul\u2019a hareket edecekleri g\u00fcnd\u00fcr ama<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>ba\u015f\u0131ndan darbe alm\u0131\u015f olan Nilg\u00fcn beyin kanamas\u0131ndan hayat\u0131n\u0131 kaybeder.<\/p>\n<p>Roman\u0131n bir di\u011fer kahraman\u0131 ise Metin\u2019dir. Metin\u2019in ya\u015f\u0131tlar\u0131ndan olu\u015fan bir arkada\u015f \u00e7evresi vard\u0131r ve eserde genellikle onu bu \u00e7evrenin i\u00e7inde, arkada\u015f grubunun pe\u015finde, de\u011fi\u015fik \u00e7\u0131lg\u0131nl\u0131klar\u0131n i\u00e7inde buluruz.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Bu eser i\u00e7in asl\u0131nda bilinen hemcinslerinden ziyade belli bir vaka \u00f6rg\u00fcs\u00fc ve onun etraf\u0131nda o vakaya ba\u011fl\u0131 tali olay \u00f6rg\u00fcs\u00fcnden<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>s\u00f6z edemeyiz. Daha \u00e7ok ba\u015fl\u0131klar halinde ve her ba\u015fl\u0131k ilgili ki\u015filer hakk\u0131nda bir \u00f6rg\u00fc olu\u015fturmu\u015f vaziyettedir. Yani esas itibariyle eserde birden fazla olay var. Roman ba\u015fl\u0131klar halinde sunulmu\u015f okuyucuya ve bu ilgili ba\u015fl\u0131klarda okuyucu ayn\u0131 zamanda, romanda dekoratif ki\u015fi ya da ki\u015filer diyebilece\u011fimiz, eseri do\u011frudan etkilemese de dolayl\u0131 olarak hakk\u0131nda bilgi sahibi olmakta fayda g\u00f6r\u00fclen, baz\u0131 dekoratif ki\u015filerle de kar\u015f\u0131la\u015fabiliyor. Bu durum da asl\u0131nda bir nevi,<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>okuyucunun da ara ara roman ki\u015fileri aras\u0131nda neden sonu\u00e7 ili\u015fkisi kurup muhakeme yapabilmek d\u00fcrt\u00fcs\u00fcn\u00fc kam\u00e7\u0131l\u0131yor.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>*\u00e7al\u0131\u015fmada eserin bu bas\u0131m\u0131ndan yararlan\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>2. BAKI\u015e A\u00c7ISI VE ANLATICISI<\/p>\n<p>Romanda kahraman bak\u0131\u015f a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131 ve anlat\u0131c\u0131s\u0131 kullan\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Eser, daha \u00f6ncede belirtti\u011fim gibi ba\u015fl\u0131klar halinde b\u00f6l\u00fcmlemelerle okuyucu kar\u015f\u0131s\u0131na \u00e7\u0131kar\u0131lm\u0131\u015f ve her b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc okuyucu, ilgili roman kahraman\u0131n\u0131n g\u00f6z\u00fc ve \u00fcslubuyla de\u011ferlendirebilme imkan\u0131 bulabilmi\u015ftir.<\/p>\n<p>Eserde kullan\u0131lan kahraman bak\u0131\u015f a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131 ve anlat\u0131c\u0131s\u0131na par\u00e7adan al\u0131nan \u015fu c\u00fcmleler \u00f6rnek olarak verilebilir:<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Sabah olunca, erkenden \u00e7\u0131kar y\u00fcr\u00fcr\u00fcm. ZAMAN<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Romanda modu moduna bir tarih alg\u0131s\u0131ndan s\u00f6z edemeyiz ancak olaylar\u0131n geli\u015fiminden, devam\u0131ndan ve ya\u015fan\u0131lan olgulardan yola \u00e7\u0131k\u0131larak a\u015fa\u011f\u0131 yukar\u0131<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>bir roman zaman\u0131 tesbit etmek m\u00fcmk\u00fcn olabilir. S\u00f6z gelimi doktor Selahattin beyin \u0130stanbul\u2019dan siyaset hasebiyle uzakla\u015ft\u0131r\u0131lmak istendi\u011fi zamanlarda okuyucu Talat Pa\u015fa ismiyle kar\u015f\u0131la\u015f\u0131r. Art\u0131k \u0130stanbul\u2019da oturmayaca\u011f\u0131z Fatma, bug\u00fcn beni Talat Pa\u015fa \u00e7a\u011f\u0131rd\u0131 ve b\u00f6yle dedi: \u201cDoktor Selahattin, sen \u0130stanbul\u2019da oturmayacaks\u0131n ve siyasetle u\u011fra\u015fmayacaks\u0131n!..\u2019\u2019 (s.20)<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Bu ifadelerden roman\u0131n bu k\u0131sm\u0131nda ge\u00e7en vaka zaman\u0131n\u0131n 1908-1918 y\u0131llar\u0131 aras\u0131nda ge\u00e7mi\u015f oldu\u011fu kuvvetle muhtemeldir \u00e7\u00fcnk\u00fc Talat Pa\u015fa\u2019n\u0131n siyasette etkin oldu\u011fu y\u0131llar bu zaman dilimlerini kapsar. Bu itibarla roman zaman\u0131n\u0131n bir k\u0131sm\u0131 1900\u2019l\u00fc y\u0131llar\u0131n ba\u015f\u0131d\u0131r diyebiliriz.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>Bir di\u011fer vaka zaman\u0131 ise romanda genel anlamda roman\u0131n anlatma zaman\u0131 olan sa\u011f-sol olaylar\u0131n\u0131n aktif bir \u015fekilde ya\u015fand\u0131\u011f\u0131 1970-1980\u2019li y\u0131llara tekab\u00fcl eden y\u0131llard\u0131r. \u00d6rnek olarak romanda Hasan sa\u011f g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015fl\u00fc olarak okuyucu kar\u015f\u0131s\u0131na \u00e7\u0131kar. Buna en b\u00fcy\u00fck \u00f6rnekte Nilg\u00fcn\u2019\u00fcn ald\u0131\u011f\u0131 Cumhuriyet Gazetesi\u2019nin onu savundu\u011fu davaya ters d\u00fc\u015fmesidir \u00e7\u00fcnk\u00fc Cumhuriyet Gazetesi sol g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015fl\u00fc insanlar\u0131n tercih etti\u011fi bir gazetedir.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBir gazete istiyorum, Cumhuriyet!\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>dedi\u011finde \u00e7ok \u015fa\u015f\u0131rd\u0131m. Aptal aptal bakt\u0131m: gazetesini al\u0131p rahat rahat kap\u0131dan nas\u0131l \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131\u011f\u0131na bak\u0131yordum ki, elimde \u015fi\u015feyle ben ko\u015ftum. \u201cDemek sen kom\u00fcnist gazetesi okuyorsun!\u2019 dedim. \u2018 efendim? \u2018 dedi. Nilg\u00fcn. Yanl\u0131zca bir \u015fey anlamak isteyerek bakt\u0131 ve sonra anlad\u0131 benim ne dedi\u011fimi ve irkildi ve bir \u015fey s\u00f6ylemeden \u00e7ekip gitti.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n<p>( s.113 ) \u0130tibari metinde ge\u00e7en bu c\u00fcmleler \u00f6rnek olarak verilebilir.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>Romanda vaka zaman\u0131 olarak tam kestiremedi\u011fimiz zaman dilimleriyle de ara ara kar\u015f\u0131la\u015fmam\u0131z m\u00fcmk\u00fcn olabilmektedir. S\u00f6z gelimi Fatma han\u0131m\u0131n evlenmeden \u00f6nceki hat\u0131ralar\u0131n\u0131, ge\u00e7mi\u015fe dair ya\u015fad\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131 \u00f6zlemle hat\u0131rlad\u0131\u011f\u0131 \u015fu c\u00fcmleler duruma \u00f6rnek verilebilir mahiyettedir.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u0130stanbul\u2019da bahar olmu\u015f ve ben on d\u00f6rt ya\u015f\u0131nda gen\u00e7 k\u0131z\u0131m ve biz yar\u0131n \u00f6\u011fleden sonra gezmeye gidiyoruz.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cNereye gidiyorsunuz bakal\u0131m?\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u015e\u00fckr\u00fc Pa\u015falara gidiyoruz, baba. K\u0131zlar\u0131 T\u00fcrkan, \u015e\u00fckran ve Nigan var ya onlarla ben \u00e7ok e\u011fleniyorum, hep g\u00fcl\u00fcyoruz, piyano \u00e7al\u0131yorlar, taklit yap\u0131yorlar, \u015fiir ve bazen benim i\u00e7in \u00e7eviri roman bile okuyorlar, ben onlar\u0131 \u00e7ok seviyorum.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Burada roman zaman\u0131 1900\u2019l\u00fc y\u0131llardan ziyade 1800\u2019l\u00fc y\u0131llar\u0131n sonu da olabilir \u00e7\u00fcnk\u00fc Fatma han\u0131m o zamanlar on d\u00f6rt ya\u015f\u0131nda oldu\u011funu s\u00f6yl\u00fcyor. Dolay\u0131s\u0131yla tam tarih vermek biraz g\u00fc\u00e7le\u015fmektedir.<\/p>\n<p>4. MEKAN<\/p>\n<p>Romanda a\u00e7\u0131k mekanlar ve kapal\u0131 mekanlar kullan\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. A\u00e7\u0131k mekan olarak \u0130stanbul, Fatma han\u0131m\u0131n evinin bulundu\u011fu Cennethisar \u00f6rnek verilebilir. Roman kahramanlar\u0131ndan Nilg\u00fcn\u2019\u00fcn d\u00fczenli olarak u\u011frad\u0131\u011f\u0131 plajda a\u00e7\u0131k mekana \u00f6rnek verilebilir.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Par\u00e7ada a\u00e7\u0131k mekanlar\u0131n yan\u0131nda olaylar\u0131n vuku buldu\u011fu kapal\u0131 mekanlarda ge\u00e7mektedir. Babaanne Fatma han\u0131m\u0131n ya\u015fad\u0131\u011f\u0131 konak kapal\u0131 mekand\u0131r, Hasan\u2019\u0131n ailesiyle birlikte ya\u015fad\u0131\u011f\u0131 ev kapal\u0131 mekand\u0131r, Metin\u2019in arkada\u015flar\u0131yla e\u011flenmek i\u00e7in kat\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 partiler de keza kapal\u0131 mekanlarda vuku bulur.<\/p>\n<p>5. \u015eAHIS KADROSU<\/p>\n<p>Eser, \u015fah\u0131s kadrosu itibariyle genel olarak yard\u0131mc\u0131 tip ve karakterleri de hesaba katacak olursak kalabal\u0131k bir organizasyon i\u00e7erir. Par\u00e7ada olay \u00f6rg\u00fcs\u00fcn\u00fcn do\u011frudan ba\u011fl\u0131 oldu\u011fu ana \u015fah\u0131slar\u0131n yan\u0131nda i\u00e7inde bulunulan olaylarda yard\u0131mc\u0131 ki\u015fi veya ki\u015filer rol\u00fcnde say\u0131labilecek \u015fah\u0131slar da elbette mevcuttur. Roman\u0131n ana \u015fah\u0131slar\u0131 \u015funlard\u0131r:<\/p>\n<p>Fatma Han\u0131m: Romanda ekseriyetle babaanne rol\u00fcnde okuyucu kar\u015f\u0131nda durur.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Doktor Selahattin ile evlenmi\u015ftir. Kocas\u0131 Selahattin\u2019in aksine dini y\u00f6nden biraz daha m\u00fcsbet bir yap\u0131ya sahiptir.<\/p>\n<p>Doktor Selahattin: \u00d6nceleri \u0130stanbul\u2019da ya\u015farken Talat Pa\u015fa taraf\u0131ndan siyasete bula\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131 gerek\u00e7esiyle uzakla\u015ft\u0131r\u0131lan bir doktordur. Romanda daha \u00e7ok gelenekselli\u011fe ve muhafazakarl\u0131\u011fa<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>ba\u015f kald\u0131ran yap\u0131s\u0131<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>ile kar\u015f\u0131m\u0131za \u00e7\u0131kar. Tamam\u0131yla bat\u0131 gelene\u011fi ve k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fc \u00e7er\u00e7evesinde d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnceleri vard\u0131r. Bu nedenle do\u011funun her\u015feyine tepkili ve mesafelidir. Asla muhafazakar de\u011fildir. Dini de\u011fer ve kaideleri reddeder benimsemez. Kar\u0131s\u0131 Fatma\u2019ya bu noktada da s\u0131k s\u0131k kar\u015f\u0131 \u00e7\u0131kar, onun muhafazakar olu\u015funa asla tahamm\u00fcl edemez. Yaz\u0131p bitirmeyi planlad\u0131\u011f\u0131 bir ansiklopedisi vard\u0131r ama bu eser bir t\u00fcrl\u00fc bitmek bilmez amac\u0131 do\u011fu insan\u0131na k\u0131lavuz olmakt\u0131r bu eserle.<\/p>\n<p>Faruk:<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Selahattin ile Fatma\u2019n\u0131n torunudur. Romanda onu genellikle arkada\u015flar\u0131yla vakit ge\u00e7irdi\u011fi \u00e7\u0131lg\u0131nca partilerin i\u00e7inde g\u00f6r\u00fcr\u00fcz. \u00d6te yandan onu zengin olma d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnceleri i\u00e7inde g\u00f6rd\u00fc\u011f\u00fcm\u00fcz de olur.<\/p>\n<p>Recep: Fatma han\u0131m\u0131n hizmetlerini yapan evin c\u00fcce u\u015fa\u011f\u0131d\u0131r. Fatma han\u0131m kendisini \u00e7ok sevmez.<\/p>\n<p>Hasan: Romanda sa\u011fc\u0131 kesimi temsil eder. Kendince d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnceleri vard\u0131r ve kendince davas\u0131na da sad\u0131k oldu\u011funu d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcr. \u00c7ocukluktan arkada\u015f olduklar\u0131 Nilg\u00fcn\u2019e ilgisi vard\u0131r ama Nilg\u00fcn\u2019den umdu\u011fu ilgiyi g\u00f6remez. Bir g\u00fcn Nilg\u00fcn\u2019\u00fc bakkaldan Cumhuriyet Gazetesi al\u0131rken g\u00f6r\u00fcr ve bu durum hi\u00e7te ho\u015funa gitmez \u00e7\u00fcnk\u00fc bu durum davas\u0131na ve inand\u0131\u011f\u0131 de\u011ferlere z\u0131t bir durumdur ona g\u00f6re.
